Wondering how to file a CPS complaint in Kentucky?
Start by talking with your social service worker or their supervisor. If that doesn’t fix the problem, take it to your Regional Office, then the Office of the Ombudsman. The Parent Handbook has this info—ask your caseworker if you didn’t get one. See Q&A below for more detailed information.
- There is an ombudsman office that may be able to help.
- Spanish language access resources are available.
Are there any steps that must be taken prior to filing a grievance?
First start by contacting your social service worker or their supervisor/case manager. If unresolved:
- Contact your Regional Office
- Contact the Office of the Ombudsman.
This information should be included in your Parent Handbook which you should have receieved from your social service worker. If you cannot find the correct contact information, ask your social service worker to fill in or give you the correct contact information.
